The VP- System Quality and Care Coordination will work in partnership with the Chief Nurse Executive and Chief Medical Officer and is responsible to lead the strategic vision, priorities, and day-to-day operations to effectively deliver care coordination, clinical quality, and patient safety that achieves results consistent with the goals of the Aspirus health system.
Leads the development of short- and long- term strategies, goals, objectives, plans and drives system initiatives and projects for areas of responsibility across the care continuum. Partners with system and business unit executives across the care continuum to assess operations effectiveness, identify opportunities for redesign and optimization of human talent, processes, and technology.
The VP, System Quality and Care Coordination is a domain expert or become an expert in care coordination, clinical quality, and patient safety and maintain in-depth knowledge of current healthcare topics, technology, and analytics. The VP, System Quality and Care Coordination is a leader who serves as a resource to enhance the delivery of clinical care while ensuring organizational, regulatory, and clinical quality and safety standards.
Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in nursing.Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration required.
Certification in care coordination and/or quality highly desired.
Minimum of 10 years of healthcare experience with 5 years in an integrated healthcare system
Minimum of 5 years in a similar role(s) with progressive leadership and scope.
Unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin, Michigan, or Minnesota required.
