**Job Location: Dallas, Texas** **Job Description:** Looking to hire a Lead who is responsible for design, implementation, and management of a client’s VPN (Virtual Private Network) infrastructure. This role typically requires a mix of technical expertise in networking and security, as well as leadership skills to drive projects and collaborate with other departments. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN. + Integration of VPN gateways with existing network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, etc.). + Managing VPN gateway performance monitoring/mechanism and resolving connectivity issues related to LAN/WAN. + Following security measures and usage of encryption protocols for secured data transmission via VPNs. + Addressing and resolving user access, latency issues, and configuration errors. + Detailed documentation of configurations, policies, and changes made to VPN systems. + Periodic reports generation on system performance, usage, and incident resolution. + Interaction with L3/L2 teams on understanding the new features developments/progress. + Collaborating with 3rd party vendors (like DIGI, Accelerated) for support and resolution of hardware or software issues. + Interaction with DevOps teams to integrate VPN gateway bug fixes/patches with CI/CD pipelines. **Required Skills:** + Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, and other network devices with minimum 15 years experience. + Hands-on experience working on embedded platforms (OPENWRT, Linux). + Solid understanding of networking concepts: DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN, IP Routing, IPSec, SSL, QoS. + Strong understanding of wired/wireless technologies – 5G, Wi-Fi, GPON, XGS-PON. + Hands-on experience with VPN gateway technologies such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet, or similar. + Familiarity with cloud-based VPN solutions (Azure, AWS VPN Gateway, etc.) along with load balancers, and traffic shaping. + Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills! + Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE). **Good to have Skills:** + Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (RADIUS, LDAP, certificates) for VPN access. + Knowledge of scripting for automation (e.g., Python). + Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and hybrid cloud networking! **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
