VPSA Strategic Accounts - Multifamily Segment - East CoastPosition Overview
Job Description
To provide the specified commercial brands, Shaw Contract & Patcraft, with strategic account sales leadership for the Multifamily segment.
This position will be responsible for implementing sales strategies for the Multifamily Segment within the Eastern part of the US.
This position will provide strategic direction, channel management, sales deployment and training for both commercial selling brands, Shaw Contract & Patcraft.
The position will develop and maintain high level relationships with key Multifamily stakeholder.
This includes A&D, End Use and Flooring Contractor customers.
This position must also provide coordination and lateral influence throughout Shaw Industries residential divisions with specific coordination with Shaw’s Builder Group.
Responsibilities:
Reach sales targets and expand revenue
Will be responsible for setting a top 20 target list and achieving sales growth year over year
Present oneself as a knowledgeable professional to all internal and external customers.
Relationship management representing Shaw Industries for key Multifamily customers.
Establish new relationships, programs and sales activity with targeted customers in the Multifamily segment.
Promote positive relationships within Shaw Industries sales channels and utilize appropriate lateral influence to gain support with all Shaw DVPs, RVPs, DMs, TMs and Account Managers.
Work closely with Shaw Commercial Brand Marketing and Marketing Services team to develop marketing tools to support Multifamily segment.
Work with appropriate residential divisions to manage crossover channels and product needs.
Must be willing to coordinate communication and collaboration between commercial and residential stakeholders.
Track and communicate sales activity with existing and targeted/registered accounts in the Multifamily segments.
Utilize and promote sales process (SPPM) for existing and targeted customers while working with our different sales forces to move customers through our SPPM model.
Review top 20 and target accounts each quarter with DVPs, RVPs, and AMs
Identify targets and deploy sales force toward targeted customers in the Multifamily segment.
Expand relationships with key service providers (Flooring Contractors) and develop market specific models to position solutions for the Multifamily segment.
Expand relationships/communication with DVPs, RVPs, and salesforce across all Brands and Divisions.
Effectively create multipliers across the different commercial Brands and Divisions.
Research and understand market potential to help determine our existing commercial market share in the Multifamily segment.
Utilize SFDC, Tableau and other sales tools to identify market segment opportunities and client wallet share.
Research and network within related trade associations and events.
Requirements:
Four-year college Degree preferred
5 years flooring sales experience
Experience with large account mapping and strategic selling
Strong communication skills - written and oral
75% travel, Candidate must reside in close proximity to a major airport within the East Coast
