Job Title: VTC TechnicianJob Description Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot VTC systems within a secure environment, ensuring reliable and secure communication channels for mission-critical operations. Provide support for day-to-day operations at the JNWC. Coordinate classified and unclassified Internet Protocol (IP) video teleconferences for CONUS and OCONUS meetings. Test, troubleshoot, and ensure VTC bridge and endpoint interoperability. Create and maintain SOP's for utilization of conference center equipment. Identify and execute process improvements to improve operational efficiency. Manage inventory of end-user devices and create and manage user accounts. Support other associated activities, tasks, and projects in a very diverse and fast-paced test, operations-focused environment. Responsibilities + Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot VTC systems within a secure environment + Ensure reliable and secure communication channels for mission-critical operations + Provide support for day-to-day operations at the JNWC + Coordinate classified and unclassified IP video teleconferences for CONUS and OCONUS meetings + Test, troubleshoot, and ensure VTC bridge and endpoint interoperability + Create and maintain SOPs for utilization of conference center equipment + Identify and execute process improvements to improve operational efficiency + Manage inventory of end-user devices + Create and manage user accounts + Support other associated activities, tasks, and projects in a diverse and fast-paced test, operations-focused environment Essential Skills + Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills + Thorough knowledge of VTC hardware, software, and network connections + Prior experience working with classified/secured VTC systems + Experience with debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and endpoints + Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining VTC endpoints + Understanding of DoD security regulations, policies, and procedures + Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field + 5+ years of relevant experience + Active DoD issued security clearance Additional Skills & Qualifications + Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification preferred Work Environment This role is based at Kirtland AFB. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, involving a variety of technologies and equipment. The position offers full PTO and benefits, and the opportunity to support a well-known contract in NM. Dress code and specific facility conditions will be provided upon hiring.
