Position Summary

The Walmart Director will play a critical leadership role in managing and growing the business with Walmart. This individual will leverage their expertise in retail, eCommerce, and data-driven strategies to drive sales, optimize promotional planning, and foster strong partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in Walmart account management, strategic thinking, and team leadership to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Walmart Business Management

Develop and execute strategies to grow the Walmart business, aligning with internal objectives and market trends. Leverage established relationships with Walmart leadership to advocate for brand growth, product positioning, and new opportunities. Drive eCommerce growth through expertise in online retail strategies, including digital marketing, marketplace management, and DTC initiatives. Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to identify and capitalize on strategic advantages. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, emphasizing urgency, teamwork, and accountability.

Promotional Planning

Lead the creation, presentation, and execution of brand promotional plans to achieve key business goals. Oversee distribution execution, new item introductions, schematic implementations, and promotional activities. Partner with commercial strategy and marketing teams to optimize forecasting, channel strategies, and ROI-driven initiatives.

Analytical Reporting

Prepare and deliver actionable analytical reports to inform decision-making and support internal and brand partner needs. Conduct regular store audits to ensure proper merchandising standards and promotional execution. Manage trade spending and accrual funds, ensuring optimal use to maximize profitability. Drive operational efficiency and business growth through innovative thinking, process improvements, and system enhancements (e.g., Luminate).

People Management

Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering alignment with company values and objectives. Identify skill gaps within the team and create development plans to support individual and organizational growth. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution of business initiatives.
