Interacts with patients visitors, and staff of all ages. Presents a ready smile and pleasant demeanor in all interactions.** **Answers the telephone and call lights as soon as possible. Always pleasant and cordial in interactions with staff, visitors and patients.** **Daily refrigerator temperature and supply checks and orders** **Schedules follow up appointments for patients and provider offices.** **Faxes essential records to providers** **Scan's EKG's into the electronic medical record.** **An advocate for patients and their families.** **Orders unit supplies** **Updates daily assignment board, census sheet, Ascom phone assignments and Cerner patient lists for staff each shift.** **Order forms for station and file cabinets. Works with safety as a first priority.** **Other duties as assigned by management.
