• Under the general supervision of the Shift Coordinator and the Director of Nurses
• Organize and distribute information, both verbal and written; distribute nursing supplies and assist in the transportation of patients/residents outside of the facility
• Work is assigned seven days a week 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. shift or 12-8:30 p.m., but hours may vary.
• Must work well under stress or tight deadlines.
• Must work well with supervisors, co-workers, patients/residents, family members and visitors.
• Education: High School graduate or GED preferred
• Experience: Six month, full-time recent successful nursing assistant experience in the CCC is preferred.
• Certifications: Current California Nursing Assistant Certificate; Possess a valid California Driver's License, able to be insurable with the District's insurance carrier and have no major traffic offenses in the past three years.

· Skills/Ability: Be knowledgeable of common resident care techniques; Have sufficient strength and endurance to fully participate in resident lifting and transporting; Be able to follow written and verbal instructions; Correctly spell common medical and general English words; Be able to establish and maintain effective relations with residents, visitors, physicians and other staff.
