Requirements High school diploma or equivalentTwo (2) years or more Experience Related warehouse experienceTwo (2) years or more Experience Powered industrial lift experienceAbility to:Read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etcLift up to 50 pounds unassistedInput data into computer system(s) in useWork overtime as assignedCreate and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Work independently and as member of a teamCapable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skillsFlexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented with excellent follow-up practicesOperate powered industrial trucks (s), such as: Stand-up and Sit down forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Pallet Jacks, etc including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) (advanced level)May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line) (intermediate level) preferredPowered industrial truck certification preferredSafety Sensitive PositionOperate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery Responsibilities Provide corrective maintenance to AGV units that have stopped or are not working as expectedManually override or complete the job the AGV unit failed to completeTrack issues/repairs and utilize escalation processBe aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedMay be required to perform other warehouse functionsMay be required to train others in various warehouse functions, including the safe operation of various powered industrial lift equipmentRyder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
