Our Hillsboro Innovative Therapies (HIT) team is responsible for delivering a fast-evolving portfolio of new Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) products to bring new curative treatments to patients.
The Opportunity:
This position is part of our Materials Management organization and will be responsible for successful operations through the exercise of managerial leadership of the team and by effectively collaborating with site and network management.
As the Warehouse and Distribution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing operations, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient environment that meets organizational objectives and customer needs. Additionally, you will:
Provide mentorship to address non-routine issues, encouraging a proactive and solution-oriented team culture
Develop and mentor individual contributors, building and sustaining a high-performance team dedicated to continuous improvement
Lead all aspects of departmental and network-related projects, involving investigation, analysis, formulation of solutions, documentation of processes, and communication of results
Ensure operations align with cGMP standards and legal requirements
Promote and sustain a mindset of safety throughout all departmental activities
Ensure availability of resources to meet site and departmental objectives compliantly and safely
Represent the department and site in internal and external audits, addressing issues and initiatives as required.
Collaborate in the development and adherence to department budgets, optimizing resource allocation and operational efficiency
Support floor activities and operations as needed to ensure smooth functioning
Who You Are:
You possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field AND at least 6 years of experience in warehouse and distribution management in biotech/pharma or related industries (or 12 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree)
You have at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership skills in a matrixed and regulated environment
You have proven knowledge of inventory management principles and cold-chain distribution
You have a solid understanding of Lean Production Systems and advanced analytical skills to anticipate and mitigate challenges and vulnerabilities
You possess outstanding customer leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization
You have a strong compliance background and are familiar with cGMP standards to implement safety protocols throughout warehouse and distribution activities
Preferred Experience:
APICS certification
DOT, IATA, international shipment expertise.
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.)

The expected salary range for this position based in Oregon is $92,100 - $171,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
