Hire Resolve’s client in the Food Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Warehouse Assistant Manager to join their team in Hermanus, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

Help with the day-to-day coordination of the relevant processing, store, and packaging teams Oversee the productivity of all team members Resolve any problems as they arise Full stock control function, packing, and exports Effective Warehouse Management Effective Staff Management Financial management, reporting and administration Compliance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Procedures

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification [e.g., Stock Control, Logistics Management, Production & Supervision studies] 2 years’ supervisory/managerial experience in a Food Processing/Production environment General knowledge of store management and stock control techniques Good written and oral communication skills with fluency in English and ability to write and analyse reports Intermediate computer literacy in all modules of MS Office and Google Suite software packages Results-oriented with the ability to continuously meet deadlines and work under pressure Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills Able and willing to work overtime and night shifts, and have a 24/7 availability Valid Driver’s license and own reliable transport Must be located in Hermanus or be willing to relocate

Benefits:
