The Warehouse Associate at Cytiva is responsible for picking of production orders by collecting goods in the warehouse according to a pick list / order list and placing it on an assigned cart using a hand scanner to remove material from SAP stock, guaranteeing correct documentation of each picking order, replenishing the stock of the cleanroom (Kanban), providing supplies of goods for the cleanroom equipment, answering messages from production, and receiving return materials from production, verifying the material labels and scanning them to the correct storage locations.
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor (Picking) and is part of the Logistics department located in Duncan, SC and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
+ Engage in Warehouse and stock management by keeping the stock in order and in proper locations, ensuring that all materials are labeled properly, participating in daily stock counts, solve SAP related issues in association with production orders, Purchase Order receipts or shipments, follow up with the dynamic kanban articles and support general manufacturing operations in three main areas.
+ Receive all goods (raw materials, packaging supplies, equipment, etc.) coming from suppliers by unloading trucks according to planning and safety regulations, verifying quality and quantity against purchase orders/packing slips, labeling all materials properly, processing delivery documentation, and processing rejected materials.
+ Participate in general warehouse cleaning to ensure stock is well kept and maintained, operate all equipment according to safety regulations, responsible for correct Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and can occasionally be called in in another warehouse department depending on the need for the work.
Who you are:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 0-2 years of work experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
+ Must have experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word specifically)
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35 lbs and handle extended bending, lifting, sitting, and standing periods.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Working in Receiving Environment
+ SAP or other ERP experience (specifically in manufacturing environment)
+ Forklift Operations or other similar equipment
