**Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Associate 2 (1st shift) in Prince George, VA!** **Job Description** The Warehouse Associate 2 is responsible for performing activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping, and inventory control of products. This role involves packaging, crating, bundling, and preparing products for shipment and receiving. The position requires the use of banding, stretch wrap machines, RF Scanners, and material handling equipment. The associate will work under general instructions from management and understand basic process flows. **Responsibilities** + Receive product: Unload, crate, prepare for receiving, breakdown, and put-away product. + Ship product: Pick, crate, prepare for shipping, palletize, and load product. + Report any damaged material, short quantities, or discrepancies to management immediately. + Notify management immediately concerning facility issues and needs. + Return all equipment to correct storage areas at the end of each day. + Count inventory within assigned areas for inventory accuracy. + Utilize proper lifting techniques and ask for help when necessary. + Attend all safety training meetings. + Report all work-related injuries and safety violations to RDC Manager or RDC Assistant Manager. + Comply with governmental safety regulations (OSHA and MSDS). + Perform all other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficient on at least one piece of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). + Proficient with powered pallet jack. + Basic math skills to quickly and accurately count, multiply, and divide. + Ability to use a handheld scanning computer and navigate through multiple screens. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience operating Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, Stand Up Forklifts. + Experience with order picking and replenishment. **Why Work Here?** Our team has solid tenure, and we prioritize the accuracy and integrity of our operations. The shift is Monday to Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided, and no steel toes are required. The physical demands include handling material in the warehouse and working with all warehouse equipment. The position requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, as well as frequent twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulder level, and crouching. Proper techniques to lift 50 pounds are required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prince George, Virginia. **PAY:** $18.50 **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
