Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates in Melville, NY.

\r\n\r\n

As a Warehouse Associate you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tUnload trucks of all incoming shipments to the distribution center\r\n\tOpen and unpack all shipments received\r\n\tComplete inventory count and quality control checks for all incoming shipments including examining for theft and/or damage\r\n\tMatch incoming inventory to invoices and packing slips for proper size, quantity, color, style etc.\r\n\tEnsure boxes are bar-coded / labeled correctly\r\n\tStock shelves with new inventory\r\n\tPerform all other functions as required\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPrevious distribution center or shipping experience is preferred\r\n\tBasic computer skills preferred\r\n\tAble to learn to operate wave machine, hi-lo machine, power jack and electric lift\r\n\tMust be detailed oriented and accurate and able to multitask\r\n\tMust be able to work accurately and safely under pressure\r\n\tAbility to lift boxes and packages up to 75lbs.\r\n\tOvertime and weekend hours maybe required\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
