Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $18 / hour What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Associate: * Accurate packing and shipping of various sized products to ensure customer expectations are met. * Determine method of shipment utilizing software * Create shipping labels using multiple ship software platforms * Maintain clean work area * Meet minimum daily shipping output expectations * Comply with all quality standards and policies * Assemble cardboard containers for shipping * Properly fill containers with void fill to protect product * Examine shipment to ensure shipment specifications are met * Confidentiality * Assist in store/ warehouse (stock, parts pulling etc.) as assigned Available shifts: Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) Job requirements: * Ability to read product identification quickly and accurately. * Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives. * Exceptional verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy * Highly organized and detail-oriented. * Ability to meet assigned deadlines * Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal * Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements * Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10 - 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up * to 100 lbs. * Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach * Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance * May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. * May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways. * Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. * Attention to detail * Great communication skills * Time management skills * Able to work well under pressure * Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors * Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time. * 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred. * Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse * Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed preferred * Previous internet shipping experience is a plus * Experience working with carrier ship method to ship small parcel packages * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Basic computer skills * Arrive on time and ready to work. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ready to take control of the way you work?
