Location: Waterbury, Connecticut
CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a leading manufacturing company in Waterbury, CT. We are looking for a stable, reliable individual with a strong work ethic to fill various positions within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
– Weigh, count, and package finished products.
– Receive raw materials from vendors and customers.
– Prepare finished products for shipping, following established procedures.
– Manage inventory and requisition packaging and janitorial supplies.
– Document shipping, receiving, and inventory movements in the ERP system.
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
– Lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
– Use power equipment to safely transport products.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS REQUIRED
– Set scales with the correct sample quantities for each product.
– Package products according to customer and/or Forum Engineering specifications; label each box with part numbers and quantities.
– Organize and track parts by part numbers.
– Locate and record finished products in the designated area using the IQMS ERP system.
– Inspect incoming raw materials for packaging condition, including resins, concentrates, inks, and metal components.
– Verify received materials against vendor packing slips and Forum Purchase Orders in IQMS.
– Scan and forward packing lists and product certifications to the Quality Group, attaching scanned copies to the corresponding PO in IQMS.
– Ensure products are handled and packed to prevent damage.
– Apply appropriate labels to shipping boxes.
– Confirm that all required documentation is included with each shipment.
Desired Background/Skills:
EXPERIENCE
– 1+ years of experience in an injection molding plant is a plus.
– Computer experience.
– Forklift Operator License.

– Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a strong sense of responsibility.
– Flexibility in working hours.
– Physically fit for a demanding job that involves lifting, pushing, and pulling.
– Adherence to PPE requirements, such as back braces and steel-toe shoes.
EDUCATION
– High school diploma or equivalent, with training in warehouse operations.
– Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
– Strong math skills.
Other Information:
Monday- Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Warehouse Associate Payrate – $16.00
