What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

Pick orders for shipmentOperate all material handling equipment, (i.e., forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, battery changing cart, stretch wrappers, carton banders, and power miter saw) safely and efficientlyPerform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as neededEnsure that inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damageMaintain accurate inventory

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED preferredGood written communication skills preferred1-2 years experience preferredProficient in Microsoft office preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $17.50 per hour
