**Job Title: Warehouse Associate** **Job Description** Warehouse Associate - 1st shift M-F 8AM - 4:30PM - $18.00/hour 2nd shift Order Selector- Monday - Friday 3:30PM - 12AM or 4:30PM to 1AM (train on 1st for 4 to 6 weeks) - $18.50 once moved to 2nd Candidates will be cross-trained in multiple warehouse functions, this is not a Forklift Operator role. Candidates need to be comfortable hand-picking, packing, processing, and unloading trailers by hand. Responsibilities include pulling orders with an order picker, loading and unloading trucks, inventory control, packing orders for small parcel shipments, and all duties related to the shipping and receiving warehouse. Must follow inspection processes to ensure quality products reach the customer, fill out paperwork properly, and maintain general housekeeping practices throughout the warehouse and manufacturing operations. Work activities occur in an inside workspace where extreme heat may occur and may involve exposure to the outside while walking into trailers. Must follow all company policies and procedures and work overtime as needed, including weekends. **Hard Skills** + Dock Locks + Bills of Lading + Cherry Picker + Warehouse Experience (3+ years) + Order Selection + Packaging + Shipping Label **Work Environment** Facility not climate controlled - typical warehouse can get slightly cold or hot, but nothing extensive. Racking up to 30 ft in the air. 8 packing stations, 4 processing stations at the far end of the warehouse near 'Lower Dock'. Multiple loading docks - 10+. Laid-back culture - nice warehouse, come in work to complete the order. No cell phones or air pods on floor, but you can use a speaker kept at a reasonable volume. Equipment used in the warehouse includes Order/Cherry Picker, Swing Reach Truck, Sit-down forklift, and manual pallet Jack. Team size by shifts in the warehouse side of operation: 1st shift: 20 people, 2nd shift: 5 to 10 people. Dress Code: Professional warehouse appearance is important. Associates are required to wear steel-toed/composite shoes, pants or shirts, and non-offensive t-shirts. Pants/Shorts need to be above the waist.
