Your primary responsibilities will encompass receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing, and shipping activities, all while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. **Key Responsibilities:** - Incoming Shipments: Manage all incoming shipments with precision. - Order Verification: Verify purchased products and efficiently enter order receipts into WESCO's computer system. - Quality Assurance: Conduct quality inspections as necessary to ensure top-notch standards. - Warehouse Organization: Segregate backorders and store received materials in designated locations. Relocate and consolidate stock as needed and inform management of any changes. -Shipping Preparation: Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment, including assembling and holding orders. - Documentation: Prepare bills of lading and express receipts, ensuring accurate local delivery records and completing necessary sections on the pick ticket. - Stock Management: Pull stock and return items to their correct locations pending credit memos, sales, or returns to suppliers. - Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse and truck/parking areas clean and organized. - Equipment Assembly: Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as required. - Maintenance Oversight: Administer preventative maintenance programs for delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment to uphold safety and functionality. **Job Requirements:** - Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Skills: Basic computer skills are essential. **Working Environment:** You'll thrive in a vibrant warehouse setting with a moderately quiet noise level, excellent ventilation, and lighting.
