Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Clover, SC
Schedule: 6 AM- 2:30 PM M-F
Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $16-20/hour depending upon experience level
Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for performing all day-to-day activities of the warehouse department in an organized and detailed oriented manner, which can include shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory operations, operating system transactions (SAP), and any other activities required to support the physical movement and electronic tracking of materials to and from the Warehouse.
+ Safely use forklift, pallet jack and hand cart to load, unload, and move product throughout warehouse
+ Process and track incoming and outgoing orders – receive, unload, stage, stack and place product in appropriately designated areas; and collect, prepare, package and label goods for outgoing shipments
+ Label warehouse stock for quick, easy identification and retrieval, and perform detailed manual inventory counts
+ Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized and ensure tools and equipment are kept in clean, working order
+ Complete transactions in software system (SAP) to maintain correct inventory and for proper invoicing
+ Adhere to OSHA/DOT standards and safe work practices at all times
+ Perform all other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent, and previous experience in shipping, receiving, material handling is a must; preferably in a manufacturing warehouse environment
+ Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training
+ Basic math and computer skills; SAP or other ERP system experience a plus
+ Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment
+ Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers, supervisors, and delivery drivers
+ Self-starter with the ability to work under minimum supervision, be highly motivated, and enjoy working as part of a team
