Job Description
A global manufacturer of bearings and power transmission parts is seeking a Warehouse Associate for their distribution center. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving inbound freight, processing and shipping outbound orders, light assembly, maintaining an accurate inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse.
ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day operational warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading materials, picking, packing, and shipping orders, and utilizing handheld tools.Complete accurate data entry by using multiple computer systems and programs.Operate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales, and forklifts.Stock and move material correctly throughout the warehouse.Maintain accurate data inventory by assisting with cycle counts and physical inventory.Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Essential Skills6+ months of warehouse experience.Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.Experience with Forklifts, Inventory, Picking, Packing, RF scanners, and Material handling.Proficiency in using basic hand tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsAny forklift operating experience is a plus.Why Work Here?
The company offers a $75 annual bonus applied toward mandatory steel toe boots. The majority of shop employees have been with the company for over 5 years, creating a stable and experienced team. The warehouse is small, with only 10-12 people, fostering a close-knit work environment.
Work Environment and Pay
The position is on the 1st shift, from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Pay starts at $20/hr. There is rarely any overtime required. The warehouse is smaller in size with 10-12 employees, providing a more intimate and manageable work setting.
