Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The role involves picking orders, packing, and preparing shipments of hoses and couplings. You will navigate through the warehouse using a standup lift or pallet runner to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesPick orders from a list of 20-25 lines and prepare them for shipping.Operate a standup lift and potentially a pallet runner to move items within the warehouse.Pack and label orders according to company standards.Ensure accurate inventory control and maintain order accuracy.Palletize items as necessary and assist with inventory management.Essential SkillsExperience with order picking and packing.Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment such as standup lifts and pallet runners.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.Basic knowledge of inventory control and packaging.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the services industry, particularly with companies like Amazon or Peyton's, is beneficial.Good attendance and a positive attitude are essential.Flexibility to make up to 4 hours a week if time is missed, subject to supervisor approval.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. The team consists of 70 hourly employees who collaborate to pick, pack, and ship orders efficiently. The role involves physical activity such as pushing carts and labeling parts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, TN.

Shift: all shifts available - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Pay: $18/hr base rate, PLUS $1.50 differential for 2nd and 3rd shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Weekly hours: 40, maybe 45-50 on occasions

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50
