Warehouse Associate
Our client, a large medical device company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Shipping/Receiving department The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, technical aptitude and a team-player mentality, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Inventory Warehouse Associate** **Location: Long Beach, CA** **Pay Rate: $20/hr.** **Duration: Temp to Hire** **What’s the Job?** + Informing supervisor of factors such as shipments, options, timeliness, transfers or regulations affecting shipments. + Preparing shipping documentation such as: bills of lading, packing lists, docking receipts or certificates of origin. + Providing shipment status notifications. + Verifying proper packaging and labeling of products. + Keeping records of products dispatched or received. + Monitoring or recording locations of products in transit. + Arranging delivery or storage of product at destination. + Verifying adherence of documentation to customers, insurance, or regulatory requirements. + Receiving shipments from suppliers, stage orders, check shipping labels and preparing BOLs. + Communicating effectively with drivers and assign dock doors as needed. + Performing other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor **What’s Needed?** + High School Diploma or GED. + year of working as a shipping/receiving clerk or warehouse dispatcher. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to execute multiple productive activities. **What’s in it for me?** + Monday – Friday: 8am - 5pm + Temp to Hire + Pay Rate: $20/hr.
