Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of inventory, supporting production needs, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position is open due to the retirement of a long-term employee, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in warehouse operations to join our team.
ResponsibilitiesCount, verify, and record inventory levels, identifying any discrepancies.Assist the supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.Deliver materials to production as needed.Print inventory tags and enter QAD transactions for raw material movements using appropriate computer hardware.Weigh and account for material returned from production, ensuring proper weights are consumed and materials are accurately put back to stock in a timely manner.Support inventory control, cycle counts, and verification of inventory status.Essential SkillsExperience with RF scanners.Knowledge of inventory control processes.Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations.Experience with loading and unloading materials.Forklift operation certification (standup forklift experience preferred).Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse and shipping & receiving.Background in medical or industrial environments, such as automotive.Ability to work in an industrial extrusion manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Putnam, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
