Warehouse Associate
What We Need: The warehouse associate will perform various warehouse activities as well as receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. You will organize stock, maintain inventory, and process, pack, and ship orders. Keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed. The warehouse associate will be successful in this position by executing standard work and adhering to all company policies. #LI-EA1 What You'll Be Doing: ● Process, package and ship orders accurately ● Organize stocks and maintain inventory ● Inspect products for defects and damages ● Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments ● Organize warehouse space ● Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately ● Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations ● Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures ● Complete general housekeeping duties ● Maintain safe working conditions in the department ● All other duties as assigned What You Will Need To Be Successful: ● High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. ● Basic math skills ● Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly & stand for 80% of shift ● Ability to bend, twist & reach to perform job duties ● Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment ● Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift ● Flexible in schedule to work overtime and weekends ● Effective verbal and written communication skills ● Ability to read & follow written directions ● Detail oriented, strong work ethic & a positive can do attitude ● Desire to learn ● Ability work independently as well as in a team environment. ● Quality conscious and attention to detail ● Willingness and ability to be cross-trained on other areas in warehouse and in other departments ● Proven warehouse experience ● 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment ● Technical and analytical skill set ● Ability to troubleshoot and communicate process issues ● Basic knowledge of how to operate a computer (program browsing, opening and closing programs, loading information into a program) ● Structured and disciplined in executing standard operating procedures About Us: Who we are:When hospitals, schools, hotels, and even music festivals need to identify the people coming through their doors, they rely on PDC's expertise and solutions.
