**Job Title: Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and preparing items for shipment. You will utilize your knowledge of the warehouse location system to determine proper placement of items and use various material handling equipment to load and unload materials. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform basic math operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.
+ Determine proper location for items based on the warehouse location system.
+ Open containers, perform necessary warehouse functions, close containers, and complete process transactions in automated accountability systems (AWS, SBSS, DO35, and/or EPS).
+ Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and shelves by hand or using material handling equipment (MHE).
+ Load materials into vehicles and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit.
+ Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
+ Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey loads to destinations or signal crane or hoisting operators to move loads.
+ Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheets.
+ Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.
+ Load trucks for Industrial Truck Operators.
+ Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together.
+ Clean work area, machines, and equipment daily.
+ Operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
+ Perform basic math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Use automated equipment such as computer terminals, bar code wands, and laser scanning equipment to read, store, query, route, and track data.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oxnard, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
