Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including shipping and receiving, picking, packing, and operating forklifts. This is a long-term position with opportunities for cross-training in welding and machining.

ResponsibilitiesPerform shipping and receiving duties for the warehouse department.Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.Handle paperwork related to shipping and receiving.Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.Maintain inventory and use RF scanners.Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and building pallets/crates.Essential SkillsForklift experience, including stand-up forklifts.Experience in shipping and receiving.Proficiency in packing and inventory management.Experience using RF scanners.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with stand-up reach trucks.Willingness to perform general labor tasks.Experience in a production environment is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean and organized manufacturing floor with ample space. It is quiet and well-lit, with a current team of about 15 people, expected to grow to 25 by the end of the year. The working hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM during training and shift to 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM for the long-term 2nd shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
