Our client in the Buda, Texas area is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with at least one year of dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry who thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Day-to-Day:

Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute them to the appropriate team members for processing.Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping instructions, and requisitions to determine items for movement and shipment.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for both employees and customers.Assemble products and participate in routine inventory counts as required.Take check calls from drivers to confirm on-time deliveries, validate load data, and ensure accurate records for accounting.Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying that shipments arrive on time and in proper condition.Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.At least one year of experience loading and unloading trailers.Proficiency in using handheld scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems, are preferred.Ability to handle large and bulky items, such as refrigerators and heavy freight, using a hand cart or pallet jack.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (must be available to work Saturdays if needed)
