**Job Posting: Warehouse Helper (Shipping, Receiving, Traffic)** **Hours:** Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour **Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Warehouse Helper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inventory, supporting shipping and receiving, and assisting with traffic management within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining a safe and organized environment, ensuring quality control standards are met, and supporting the efficient flow of goods. **Key Responsibilities:** + Handle inventory as a warehouse helper, shipping and receiving assistant, or traffic helper. + Sort, organize, and tag merchandise for easy location and access. + Maintain accurate records of received items and damaged merchandise returned. + Verify product against orders for accuracy and ensure proper placement. + Follow Richelieu Core Values when processing orders and shipments. + Select efficient and cost-effective packaging options for outgoing orders. + Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. + Perform occasional showroom counter duties when needed. + Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. + Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies. + Support overall warehouse operations and perform additional tasks as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Experience in warehouse or shipping/receiving roles preferred. + Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. + Excellent organizational and time-management skills. + Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. + Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks. + Basic proficiency with computer systems and warehouse management software. + Must have a safe driving record, free of violations. **Why Join Us?** + Competitive pay and benefits. + A dynamic and supportive work environment. + Opportunities for growth and development within the company.
