Position Details:Base Wage is $22.00 per hour + incentivesFT – SUN/MON WED/THUR 2pm start time to finish 4/10 schedule / average 45 hours a weekThe cooler and freezer environments can range from 36°F (2°C) to -10°F (-23°C). Freezer jackets are provided. You are required to work in the cooler/freezer area for the entire shift Position Purpose:
Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Warehouse, Worker, you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions activities within our warehouse. This is an active & physical role that involves standing the entire shift & the ability to lift, push or pull cases weighing between 32 pounds and 50 pounds repetitively. On average, order selectors pick between 1200-2000 cases per shift (ex. 1 case of water is 32lbs each)The Warehouse, Worker performs shipping and/or receiving functions in a timely manner while maintaining inventory and warehouse work areas, observing all safety regulations, and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Performs general warehouse duties as assigned including but not limited to forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, break down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.Performs general housekeeping duties and keep warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean as required. Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.Performs daily safety check of the assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.Retrieves product, stacks orders for delivery, and monitors inventory levels within the warehouse. Directs, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.Retrieves product in accordance with printed customer orders and packing products.Restocks order selection zones as necessary and consolidating merchandise. Stacks orders securely according to sequence of delivery route.Applies shipping ID labels to products and completing paperwork related to inventory process.Maintains orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.Performs damage control checks on items received and contact supervisor about removing items according to company policy.Removes batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist. Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.Reviews work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.Performs other related duties as assigned.
