Pitney Bowes is now hiring for Full Time Direct Hire Warehouse Associates in our Monroe, NJ Facility.

Multiple Shifts Available


$.50/hr additional for 2nd shift  
 

You Are: 

An individual who enjoys fast paced, physical production environment while developing new skills in the mailing industry. You are a hard-working and vital contributor to our company’s success in meeting productivity standards and customer satisfaction ratings.

 

You will:

● Scan barcode on parcel

● Inspect contents

● Repackage, re-seal, or re-box parcel to prevent damage toproduct

● Apply shipping labels and packing slips to parcels

● Escalate problem shipments for further review

● Review Customs requirements and follow associated prompts

● Hit hourly / daily productivity goals

● Unload loose-loaded trucks onto gravity conveyor in a safeand timely manner

● Consistently observe safety practices to avoid injury

● Work at a fast pace doing rigorous physical labor

● Make sure the customer information on screen matches theinformation on the package

● Print and attach the new LPN (License Plate #) to theparcel

● Hand off parcel to singulator for next step in processing

● Escalate parcels that do not match the system fortroubleshooting

Other positions include:

● Containerizer: Scan parcel LP and then scan container ID;Place parcel in appropriate outbound container

● Line Loader: Load parcels onto gravity conveyor to beprocessed

● Singulator: Individually load parcels onto the weight anddimensioning system

● Sorter: Remove parcels from the end of the processingline and sort into mail cart by outbound carrier

● Indirect Labor: Other duties as needed

Your background: As a Warehouse Associate, you have: The ability to be dependable and reliable.       A basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native language. The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.The ability to use the internet, web browsers and data entry.Preferred: Prior parcel, fulfillment, warehouse or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of small package and conveyor systems. Physical demands and abilities:   The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
