POSITION SUMMARY Pull & transfer appropriate material required to support production in molding and finishing manufacturing areas. Receive and ship incoming and outgoing material, MRO and finished goods in accordance with policy and procedure. Receive, store and issue materials, tools, equipment and other items to support production, maintenance and facility requirements. Deliver setting equipment to presses and raw materials to backflush locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY Comply with ISO Environmental Policies as it pertains to the company and job. Performs SMAT audits when required thought out the year. Performs “One Minute to Think” before starting any assigned job. Able to read PPE assessment forms and comply with PPE requirements. Responsible for maintaining the workstation per 5S guidelines, which includes maintaining a clean and organized work area. Complies with Company policies (Safety, Documented Procedure, etc.). Places waste in appropriate designated labeled containers and makes sure lids are properly closed after disposal of waste. Examples of waste are: Contaminated rags, empty aerosol cans, defective lime, etc. Able to identify loads in a trailer with proper placards. Able to receive raw materials with special requirements and place them in the appropriate location. Assure shipment has appropriate labeling and packing list. Assure truck bed is in good condition prior to loading or unloading QUALITY Able to recognize that product placed in a pallet is in good condition by placing corner pieces and shrink wrapping load. Performs and documents first piece inspection of raw materials delivered to manufacturing. Load trailers based on maximum weight limitations according to work instructions and procedures. Able to read, understand and follow Shipping & Receiving controlled work instruction documents. Assist direct supervision in the creation of new work instructions for the assigned area. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Able to work overtime as required and be flexible with assigned or rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and hours (8, 10, 12 hrs.) when needed. Follows manufacturing orders, obtains the correct sub components and other raw materials necessary to process the order. Must be able to rotate in different location such as Molding, Finishing, Shipping and Receiving. Verify and validate integrity of information associated to incoming receipts and outgoing shipments. Operate various materials handling equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, platforms, reach outs or hand trucks to move, convey and store material or finished goods. Ability to learn and use SAP. Perform appropriate system transactions to receive, store, issue, transfer and ship all forms of materials, including, but not limited to, raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods, and MRO. Properly fill out ASN form to deliver product to DC. Perform cycle counts, analysis of count variance, corrective action, implementation and physical inventories. Issue/transfer all forms of materials in first-in, first-out (FIFO) manner. Comply with all Company policies, procedures and business controls. Works on specific projects assigned by immediate supervisor, including 1 month rotations between Warehouse and Manufacturing Forklift Driving. Participate in WCM activities via leading teams, learning routes, using basic tools, and training as needed.
