Position: Warehouse Associate Lead
Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate Lead is responsible for their departmental organization, scheduling of staff, and directing of the warehouse on a day-to-day work plan. This individual is responsible for contributing to warehouse safety, assignment accuracy, productivity levels, and facility maintenance. The Warehouse Associate Lead will assist in coordinating warehouse activities under the direction of the Supervisor or Manager.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
+ Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maximize warehouse efficiency
+ Support and implement the company’s initiatives to promote positive employee morale and team building
+ Enforce warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean work environment
+ Provide direction and motivation for the floor team to promote efficiency, quality, and accuracy
+ Monitor warehouse overtime
+ Assist in distributing work to associates to meet daily production goals
+ Assist in training for new hires and additional training for the team as needed
+ Identify and communicate safety hazards or incidents
+ Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
+ Ability to operate various types of equipment including manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, etc.
+ Proficient experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point and Excel
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with candidates and employees
+ Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule
+ Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties effectively
