Our client, a leader in the light industrial sector, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Warehouse Associate-Shipping/Receiving
**Location:** Portland, OR
**Pay Range:** $20.00 - $22.00 per Hour, DOE.
**What's the Job?**
+ Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
+ Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment.
+ Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
+ Learn to operate a forklift to enhance operational efficiency.
**What's Needed?**
+ A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management is preferred.
+ Ability to quickly learn product knowledge.
+ Forklift operator experience is a plus but not required.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
