Then consider joining us as a Warehouse Associate at our site in Jupiter, Florida. **Your Role** You will perform multiple warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of the distribution center such as receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am and will be paid weekly at $17.75 per hour. **Your Responsibilities** + Verify and receive materials into inventory. + Verify required inbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted. + Ensure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage. + Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit. + Ensure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage. + Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit. + May also include palletizing and shrink-wrap. + Duties may include receiving, checking and storing. + May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to fifty (50) pounds. + Dangerous Goods”: when receiving dangerous goods, the necessary procedures must be followed and these shipments must be stored in the designated section of the warehouse. + Understand and adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive, but not limited, to OSHA, DOT, EPA and other government agencies. Certification is required to handle any hazardous material(s).If/when applicable, ‘bonded’ cargo must be processed and handled accordingly, based on existing guidelines for this type of shipment. + Use material handling (MH) equipment to unload incoming materials. + Use MH Equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse. + Use MH Equipment to pick, verify and pack orders according to standard practice. + Use MH Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehiclesfor distribution. + Deliver high level of service to customers. + Ability to stand for long periods of time. + Continuous Improvement + Other duties as assigned. **Your Skills and Experiences** + High school diploma or equivalent + Must be a U.S. citizen + At least 1 year of experience in a warehousing environment + Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate-controlled environment + Basic math skills + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds **Good Reasons to Join** There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
