Position Summary: Prepare/package materials for shipment to outside processing or customers.  Assist in other areas in logistics. Responsibilities: + Fill orders or requisitions for materials by locating, retrieving, unpackaging and kitting or delivering materials to plant locations.  + Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records. + Check for shortages and reject damaged goods. + Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and movement of materials to storage locations. + Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in the area. + Receive materials, equipment, merchandise and similar items in a storeroom or warehouse. + Store items in high/low bay racks, in bins or on the floor.  Includes marking or tagging items for identification. + Complete Oracle / Maximo inventory and other ERP transactions.  + Safely operate a fork lift truck, overhead crane or other material handling equipment + Prepare records of goods shipped by making bills of lading, posting weight and shipping charges and maintaining shipping records + Wear all required PPE at all times. + Other duties as required.
