Job Title: Manufacturing Equipment Operator (Bottling Department)
Job Description

Operate one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, including moving raw materials to the production line, and filling, capping, sealing, labeling, or packaging products. Ensure product inspection processes, perform basic troubleshooting, and minor repairs to maintain efficient production equipment operation.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.Ensure package and product quality.Perform preventative maintenance.Operate all manufacturing equipment (including new technologies) efficiently and safely.Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift.Maintain a clean work area through good housekeeping practices.Expedite repairs to the line, working with maintenance as necessary.Keep daily records of downtime and machine operations.Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere.Ensure regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.Essential SkillsExperience with high-speed production lines in a fast-paced environment.Experience operating a forklift and handling pallets.Experience operating packing machines, filler machines, and palletizers.Ability to read blueprints and production schedules.Experience using computers in a manufacturing setting for troubleshooting and equipment resetting.Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and basic sanitization procedures.Experience performing minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools.Experience with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading, and material handling.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Clean production environment requiring lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly. The position involves walking or standing most of the time during the shift, with occasional stooping, crawling, and crouching over and under conveyors. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Folsom, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
