JOB TITLE – Ware house Cargo Agent   LOCATION – ORD – O’hare Chicago   JOB SUMMARY   Shipping/Receiving (we use tablets, they’re easy) Cargo handling up to 50 lbs- mostly lighter and assistance can be asked for-some forklift operating, we can certify if needed.  Knowledge on how to build airline Unit Loading Devise’s a plus or willing to learn. Have an eye for detail covering both shipping and receiving a must. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. ·         Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks   ·         Prepare and palletize cargo as needed   ·         Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct   ·         Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment   ·         Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations   ·         Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and Policies   ·         All other duties as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS   ·         Ability to pass intensive background and drug screening   ·         Strong oral and written communication skills   ·         Must be able to work flexible working hours/ Weekends   ·         1st ,2nd and 3rd shift schedule available   ·         Ability to work in inclement weather   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is a full-time permanent position with an attractive benefits package including Flight Privileges.     Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the people assigned to this classification.
