Overview: The Warehouse cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the packaging department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Maintains housekeeping standards by assuring floors are clean using floor scrubbers and mops. + Cleans and wipes down equipment and work surfaces and sanitizes as necessary. + Assures an organized workplace and removes clutter and waste from the department. + Performs other functions as assigned. Education and Experience: + Minimum of 1-year experience working in an industrial setting preferred Physical Requirements: + Must be able to climb ladders, walk and stand constantly, reach, bend, twist, rotate, push and pull frequently, lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently. + Must be willing to work nights, weekends, rotating shifts, holidays and overtime as needed. + Must be able to work in safe manner and follow established procedures. + Packaging cleaners will relieve operators at designated workstations. + Must be able to work in heat and humidity.
