Your role at Baxter

You will be responsible for receiving, stocking and transferring deliveries of components to proper Manufacturing areas. You will follow standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply to the specific job. Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be followed during the handling of components for our medical devices and associated documentation.

This is a full-time, on-site position; Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm

What you'll be doing

Perform one or more functions in the Warehouse area including but not limited to:Receiving components and other shipmentsMaterial TransferUnpacking and organizing shipments of components onto racking and delivering components to production areasPerform daily cleaning of the warehouse area to maintain in GMP fashion.Operate general warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, scales, pallet wrappers, etc.)Receive, store and distribute supplies into the manufacturing and shipping areas as necessary.Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor.

What you'll bring

High School Diploma or equivalentPrior Warehouse experience is preferred but we are willing to trainMust be able to read, write, and communicate in English and perform basic math skills as job duties require.Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.Overtime may be required at times.Introduction to GME/B4One transactions.

Physical Demands

Ability to sit or stand for minimum of 8 hours, with breaks during shiftMust be able to lift up to 25lbs individually or up to 65 pounds as part of a team lift.Occasional pushing of carts with product or containers of solutionsRepetitive hand motionRequires frequent object handling.Requires frequent simple hand grasping.Requires frequent firm hand grasping.Requirement of 20/25 vision (with or without corrective lenses)Frequent use of monitor, keyboard and mouse

Work Environment

Warehouse with moderate noise levelDuring material transfer in a clean room environment; donning and doffing special garments (e.g. scrubs, hair bonnets, frocks, hoods, masks, gloves) based on the Class level for each Clean Room. Personal protective equipment is required and will be based upon the safety requirements for each work area. Entry into clean room areas will require special PPE such as scrubs, hair bonnets, frocks, hoods, masks, gloves, etc. This job also involves hazardous materials and hazardous waste responsibilities which include understanding and complying with hazardous materials and hazardous waste regulations for job duties such as: proper handling, storage, and labeling requirements for hazardous materials and hazardous waste.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $35,200 - $48,400 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
