Our client, a growing food distribution company, is looking for an Warehouse Clerk to join their team in San Clemente, CA. This role is a mix of administrative and warehouse duties, ensuring efficient order processing and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and track orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and allocation.Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and shipping software (training provided).Conduct inventory checks and shipment inspections in the warehouse.Ensure accurate staging, labeling, and documentation of shipments.Verify proper loading procedures in compliance with company and DOT regulations.Communicate with supervisors to maintain smooth shipping operations.Assist in implementing and maintaining shipping policies and compliance standards.Provide administrative support to the shipping and receiving team.Requirements:
1+ year of experience in order processing, shipping, or inventory control.Bilingual in Spanish (required).Intermediate Excel skills (data entry, spreadsheets, and reporting).Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software.Experience in food manufacturing or perishable food shipping is a plus.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.Strong work ethic with a willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate: $20 per hourSchedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (overtime required, some Saturdays)
