Manages the receipt, processing, and distribution of equipment into a central stockroom warehouse. Responsibilities include day-to-day operations of stockroom management, receiving, inventory control, and coordination of equipment deliveries.

I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Receives and processes equipment deliveries into the central stockroom warehouse, including inspection and recording of delivered items.
2. Ensures efficient, organized storage of received items in appropriate areas while tracking locations of on-hand inventory.
3. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
4. Maintains accurate records of current inventory and tracking of items entering and leaving stock inventory.
5. Prepares equipment items for disposal and accurately tracks serial numbered assets with a high attention to detail.
6. Streamlines stockroom activities and logistics to ensure efficient operations.
7. Coordinates inter-site shipping of equipment to and from other hospital locations including packing and unpacking of items.
8. Communicates with vendors, project managers and recipients regarding the distribution and delivery of equipment.

II. Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in a health care, business, or technical field.

Experience/Skills:
Required:
1. Eight years of experience in warehouse lead role, including receiving and shipping department.
2. Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
4. Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to promote change management and application adoption through quality training program.
6. Expert communication and organizational capabilities. 
7. Must have experience with information services operations and human resource policies, procedures. 

Preferred:
1. Two years of experience with ServiceNow and data reporting with an emphasis on asset management. 
2. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and data quality management.
3. Prefer experience with vendor relationship management and vendor communication.
4. Experience establishing process improvement initiatives with Lean practices and tools.

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.

Job needs to be updated to a 40 hour postion.
