Job Description:

Position Objective:  

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, move materials within the facility, and support inventory control through cycle counting. This role ensures efficient material flow and accurate stock levels to support operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multitask.

Essential Functions:

Material Handling & Shipping/Receiving

Load and unload trucks safely and efficientlyVerify shipments against documentation for accuracy and report discrepanciesAssist in staging and preparing outbound shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation

Inventory Control & Cycle Counting

Perform routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracyInvestigate, problem solve, and resolve discrepancies in inventory recordsFollow cycle count policy

Warehouse Organization & Safety

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environmentFollow all safety protocols and forklift operation guidelinesConduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issuesWork collaboratively with team members to support warehouse and production needs

Receiving

Transport materials and products to designated areas within the warehouse, production, and office areasCompleting receipts in QAD

Qualifications:

Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory control preferredAbility to lift up to 40-60 lbsPrevious hilo experience with emphasis on safety and proficiencyStrong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keepingAbility to obtain a company hilo licenseAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentBasic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentationKnowledge of ERP Systems, QAD not required, but preferred
