The Warehouse Custodian is responsible for keeping assigned distribution center areas, inside and outside the facility, clean and well maintained.

 

This is a full-time position. Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.

Responsibilities

Keep assigned distribution center areas, inside and outside the facility, clean and well maintained.

Remove recycling materials and dispose into proper container (e.g. cardboard, paper, plastic, and banding)Collect and dispose of trash.Vacuum, sweep, dust and mop floorsClean and dust distribution center fixtures (e.g. shelving units, stairs,ladders)Clean and dust offices and common work areasClean and stock restroomsOther dutues as assigned

 

 

Qualifications High School Diploma, or GED
A minimum of 1 year custodial experience in a warehouse, shipping or logistics facility is desired.
Accurately follow directions, both written and verbalAttention to detailAbility to work independentlyInterpersonal skills

Other Requirements:

Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs with a range from a floor level to above shoulder height walking and standing on concrete floors for a period of up to two hours; pushing and pulling rolling carts or pallet jacks bearing loads of up to 500 pounds; free range of motion including twisting, bending, stooping, including climbing on step ladders.Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.Ability to work overtime, as needed.
