DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTo directly assist Management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance.\nTo supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, whilst always maintaining standards of excellence.\nSupporting shop floor team to deliver their results following the set standards. \nCoordinate and support the team to follow Safety Standards and to help reduce or eliminate health and safety related risks.\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nPrevious experience as a people manager within a logistics / warehouse environment\nAutomation knowledge would be desirable, but not essential\nComputer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems. JDA experience is preferred\nExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports\n\n
