Requirements High School diploma or equivalent0 to One (1) year relevant experienceAbility to:Follow work procedures and safety rulesIdentify and locate product which requires reading and countingOperate powered pallet jack safely and efficientlyRead, understand, and follow directions/instructionsWork a specified shiftWork with minimum supervisionGood written and verbal communication skillsAll applicants must successfully pass a criminal background and drug test Responsibilities Inspect and identify damages to merchandiseRepair damaged merchandise including repairing upholstery and refinishing of case goodsRepair of damaged corners, dents, scratches, broken wood products & drawers that do not properly glideRe-upholstering of love seats, sofas, chairs: arms, side panels, backs, fronts and seat cushionsOn-the-spot repairs including all touch-upsKnowledge with blending colors for all wood types with aerosols, epoxy and color pensKnowledge with refinishing all wood textures (burn-in)Write up daily shop logs in order to invoice clients to SOPKeep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracyComply with all OSHA and MSDS standardsVerify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessaryChanges equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessaryMaintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashionAssist in physical inventoriesComplete daily inspection of equipmentPerform additional duties as assigned by management or customerPerform other duties as assigned
