The Hiller Companies, a national leader in the fire protection and security industry, is hiring a part-time Warehouse Helper to begin their careers in the fire protection industry.

Pay Range: $18.72 - $23.40 per hour

Job Summary:  The Warehouse Helper plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our organization's shop. This position involves performing maintenance tasks and helping facilitate seamless warehouse operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Gather materials from shop stock for jobs and label all bags and/or boxes of material. Assist in unloading trucks and receiving vendor deliveries and verify contents against the purchase order. Process material returns from job sites. Maintain an organized inventory to ensure easy accessibility. Collaborate with colleagues to streamline warehouse operations and uphold an organized work environment. Fabricate materials for job site including measuring, cutting, grooving, and threading pipe according to specifications. Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the team. Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Familiarize yourself with different types of fire sprinkler materials and tools. Other duties as assigned.
