Focus: The Warehouse Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing the warehouse inventory operations, including the tracking, recording, and monitoring of stock levels. This position ensures optimal stock levels are maintained, proper procedures for receiving and dispatching goods are followed, and that inventory accuracy is kept at high standards. The role requires close coordination with other departments to meet production, sales, and supply chain demands. This role is also responsible for oversite of our third party vendor that manages our storage facilities.
Warehouse Inventory Control Manager Essential Job Functions:
Maintain accurate inventory records using management systems and perform regular updates. Oversee stock levels and ensure timely reordering to prevent overstock or stockouts. Manage receiving, dispatching, and storage of goods while ensuring compliance with standards. Conduct inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and generate management reports. Lead warehouse staff and collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams for inventory accuracy. Implement and maintain effective cycle counting program to ensure real time inventory accuracy across multiple operating locations. Implement warehousing and inventory control best practices. Provide direction for third party distribution company for internal and external shipments.Warehouse Inventory Control Manager Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree*; logistics, supply chain, business or related field preferred 5 years of experience in warehouse management or inventory control with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing others. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a physical warehouse environment, including lifting and operating equipment.Location-Specific Requirements:
Must have a valid US Driver’s License. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls if required. This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
