The Warehouse Janitorial Associate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse facility and surrounding grounds ensuring a clean, and safe facility by sweeping, scrubbing floors, emptying trash and picking up debris.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Pick up any debris i.e., broken boards, plastic, tape, or any other trash.
+ Pick up any damaged cases and transport them to the damage/recoup area and/or pick up cases off the floor and place them in their respective location.
+ Break down and organize all cardboard using a baler
+ Collect and organize pallets
+ Maintain floors via sweeping with broom and mopping with floor scrubber
+ Responsible of emptying trash bin locations by hand and transporting to dumpster.
+ Responsible of operating dumpster.
+ Responsible of emptying plastic recyclable bins and transporting plastic to recyclable area.
+ May have duties outside of the warehouse facility to sweep or clean outside dock areas from trash and/or empty trash containers.
+ Assist in picking orders when housekeeping duties are light.
+ Observe all the Paslode safety policies and procedures.
+ Other duties as needed.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Basic Math skills.
+ Ability to operate a floor scrubber and willing to operate a Forklift.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in written form effectively with co-workers and other departments
+ Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
+ Basic required competencies: Conscientiousness, detail oriented, safety minded, self-motivated to achieve, high initiative, ability to work with limited supervision, team oriented

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to fumes, heat and dust, climate variances and moving mechanical equipment typically found in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is high when exposed to the manufacturing areas. Certain personal protective equipment is required when in the manufacturing areas. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to grip, grasp, reach, push and pull with hands and arms, walk, stand, speak and listen, climb, kneel, bend, sit, mount and dismount power industrial vehicle and able to walk on hard surfaces such as concrete. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
