Summary:
The Warehouse Keeper completes material requirements by processing and loading internal and external work orders, as well as routing it to its required destination.
Essential Functions
Verify Material count and specification
Prepare and package material for internal/ external routing
Route products to departments
Attach identifying information and delivery instructions on containers
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
Complete deliveries by driving forklift (secondary skill) to and from final destination
Report and inspect warehouse forklift equipment
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
Maintains quality service by following organization standards
Maintains safe environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations using 6S standards.
Completes reports by entering required information (must be computer savvy)
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Other task as assigned by Supervisor
Material receipt/ packaging/ verification/ routing/ handling/ transport
Complete deliveries by driving forklift to and from final destination
Maintain inventory control

Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
2 years previous warehouse experience or order picking; preferably in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional manufacturing warehouse environment. This role will routinely be exposed to loud noises such as air-powered tools/presses, oil/dirt, and forklift traffic. Additionally, this position will require some use of various hand, pneumatic air, and battery operated torque tools.

While performing the duties of their job, the employee frequently is required to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb, squat, kneel, reach, verbally communicate, hearing and peripheral vision.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Typical Shift Hours of Operations
1st shift 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
2nd shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Daily and weekend overtime may be required, as needed
Flexibility to rotate shifts, as determined due to business need and management discretion
