This is a full-time, hourly position.

Purpose: Provide support to the Inventory Control Manager, to whom this position directly reports.  Support is specifically defined as: document and record all incoming and outgoing BOL’s; assemble full inventories when requested or on a routine basis; generate Load-Out Inspections and Disposal forms, when needed.  Secondarily the position will be expected to cover the Inventory Control Manager position when they are unavailable.

Working Relationships: The position reports directly to the Warehouse / Inventory Supervisor.  The position requires the cooperation of the Office Coordinator, Production Supervisors/Leads, Quality technicians, and the Plant Manager, vendors, customers and transportation companies.

Responsibilities and dutiesComplete the daily forklift operator checklist prior to using the forklift during your shift.Operate a forklift to load and unload goods in and out of the warehouse.Ensure documentation is accurate and complete on outgoing BOL’sEnsure and inspect material matched paperwork on all incoming BOL’sScan incoming and outgoing BOLs into internal shared filesComplete daily kit needs for productionUnderstanding on how to build a new kit templateStage kits for production when neededReturn kits from production when neededProvide control of inventory to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements and specifications.When required, complete disposal forms.Maintain warehouse in an organized manner.Control the movements in the warehouse through the iPad app for traceability.Monitor first in first out.Ensure the floor is always free of debris.Inform the Warehouse Lead when more pallets are needed.Take periodic inventories and participate in the monthly inventory program.Document and report immediately any incident that would cause the inventory status of a material or product to change.Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Lead or Warehouse and Inventory Manager.Report suspicious activity or unusual observations to the Inventory Control Manager.Follow proper SOP’s, cGMPs, HAACP, Food Safety, Food Defense, Allergen, Food Safety Culture, and company policies.Other Duties as assigned by Warehouse Lead and Inventory SupervisorStandard of Performance: Warehouse and Inventory Assistant is deemed to be performing satisfactorily when the following criteria are met.The relationships defined above are healthy.All responsibilities above are being met. ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
